A memorandum of understanding for biodiversity in Guinea Sylvatrop Consulting was present for the signature of a memorandum of understanding for the protection of the biodiversity between 6 mining companies, the Guinean State and the representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). We are pleased to note that we work regularly with some of these companies that have signed this protocol: Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC), Alliance Mining Comodities (AMC), Alliance minière responsable (AMR), Société minière de Boké (SMB), Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinée (CBG) and Alufer.

Artisanal fisheries in a mining concession: a study of ecosystem services Sylvatrop Consulting was mandated to define and quantify the ecosystem services provided by artisanal fisheries located in a mining concession. Stockpile: volume calculation and accuracy of results

The drone: an efficient tool for stockpile calculation In order to know precisely the volume of ore to be evacuated and treated, we carried out a survey of this stockpile. Flight time: 18 minutes; Number of pictures taken: 186; Ground control points: 5 ; From the drone data, an orthomosaic of 5cm/pixel resolution is generated as well as a digital terrain model. It is from this digital terrain model that the ore volume of this stockpile is estimated. Effectiveness of the drone to assess the size of a chimpanzee population Within the framework of the development of a dam, Sylvatrop Consulting was commissioned to carry out a drone survey. Objective: to estimate the size of the local chimpanzee population. Their presence was detected by feeding or nesting signs.
